§ Mr. BUXTONApplications for an advance under Section 2 of the Agricultural Credits Act, 1923, have been received from only one agricultural credit society. Five advances, amounting in the aggregate to £1,977, have been made to this society, which has 35 members holding 1,315 shares. Four other societies have been registered, but have not yet made applications for advances.
