§ Mr. GWYNNEasked the Minister of Pensions whether a man who has been awarded 100 per cent. pension for life is free to accept employment without the risk of having his pension reduced?
Mr. ROBERTSAssessment for the flat-rate disablement pension is based on medical grounds alone, and is made without regard to the fact of the pensioner's employment. Accordingly a final award of disablement pension at the maximum (or any lesser) rate is not in any way affected by the pensioner accepting employment.
