HC Deb 02 June 1924 vol 174 c894W
Mr. WHITELEY

asked the Minister of Health whether it is the intention to issue Regulations under the last Workmen's Compensation Act instructing approved societies to pay national health insurance benefit during the waiting period of three days in those cases where the accident does not incapacitate the member for the full four weeks, as was the practice under the previous Act when the accident period had to be two weeks, before dating back to the first day, and the waiting period six days?

Mr. WHEATLEY

A Circular, of which I am sending the hon. Member a copy, has already been sent to all approved societies, explaining the position with regard to the matter referred to in the question.
