Mr. ROBERTSThe number of individual pensioners (men, widows and dependants) in Ireland is approximately 73,300; including wives and children, the total number of beneficiaries is 140,000. 10,550 of the men's pensions paid are permanent, and there are, in addition, 4,750 final weekly allowances in payment. I regret that the average administration cost per head of the pensioners resident. 897W in the area covered by the Dublin Area Office is not available: this area includes the Counties of Dublin, Louth, Monaghan, Cavan, Donegal, Meath, Kildare, Queen's County, King's County and Wicklow.
