HC Deb 24 July 1924 vol 176 cc1547-8W
Captain ELLIOT

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether, seeing that the Ordnance Survey recently decided to stop issuing the quarter sections of the six-inch map, and that this will lead to increased expense for those purchasing the maps, and that this new departure is much resented, he will take steps to see that the former practice is not departed from without consultation with the bodies interested?

Mr. SMITH

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the reply which my right hon. Friend gave on Monday last to a question put by the hon. Member for the Scottish Universities (Sir H. Craik), from which he will sec that the matter is being reconsidered.
