Mr. ALEXANDERThe Committee's recommendation which concerns my Department was that the Government should consider the advisability of introducing legislation to require certain holding companies to file a co-ordinated balance sheet with their annual return at 701W Somerset House. This is one part of the general question of legislation in respect of trusts and combines, which is under consideration, and I am not at present in a position to make a statement on the subject.
