§ Mr. SNOWDENThe reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. With regard to the second part, any case in which this rule of conduct is broken would fall to be dealt with according to the regulations. If my hon. Friend has also in mind the rules relating to the candidature for Parliament of members of the various public services, I should add that these rules have given rise to anomalies in their application and that the whole question will receive attention.
