§ Mr. SHAWApart from any necessary temporary clerical staff required to meet pressure of work due to abnormal unemployment, I have no present intention of making any additions to the staff of my Department from outside the ranks of the Civil Service. The second part of the hon. Member's question does not, therefore, arise.
