HC Deb 12 February 1924 vol 169 cc746-7W
Dr. CHAPPLE

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether any steps have been taken to extend to South Africa, Australia and New Zealand the same privileges with regard to the importation of stock into the United Kingdom as those recently extended to Canada?

Mr. BUXTON

So far as store cattle are concerned, the Ministry is unaware of a demand on the part of the Dominions in question for facilities to import store cattle. With regard to the importation into this country of live stock other than store cattle, the same conditions apply to all four Dominions.
