§ Mr. LINFIELDasked the President of the Board of Education whether, in view of the anxiety of the acting teachers preparing for the certificate examination, he will at once issue the syllabus for the proposed examination in November, 1924; and whether those passing the last preliminary examination for the certificate will be eligible to sit for the examination in November, 1924?
§ Mr. E. WOODThe syllabus for the certificate examination to be held in November, 1924, will be the same as the syllabus issued for the examination which it was originally proposed to hold in November, 1923. Candidates who have passed the preliminary examination for the certificate held in December, 1922, will be eligible to sit for the certificate examination in November, 1924, if they are qualified in respect of age and previous service as uncertificated teachers.
