HC Deb 26 March 1923 vol 162 cc47-8W
Mr. LAWSON

asked the President of the Board of Education what time will De given to the local education committees for the consideration of Circular 1,297, dealing with special schools, before he issues the revised Regulations; and whether he will be prepared to take into consideration any representations made before he sends out such Regulations?

Mr. WOOD

I do not anticipate that it will be possible to issue the draft of the revised Regulations relating to special schools for another month or two. The Regulations will he issued in draft. and will not be confirmed until at least 40 days have elapsed from the date of their issue. I am, of course, bound to consider any objections or representations that may be made to me on the draft.
