HC Deb 26 March 1923 vol 162 c62W
Lieut.-Colonel NALL

asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether every Royal Irish Constabulary pensioner who was compelled to break up his home in Ireland will be treated as a special case under paragraphs A, B, and C of Section 8 of the Royal Irish Constabulary Revised Terms of Disbandment Act, 1922?

Mr. ORMSBY-GORE

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the reply which I gave to a question addressed to me by the hon. and learned Member for Moss Side (Mr. Hurst) on the 21st instant. I should add that under a recent arrangement between my Noble Friend the Secretary of State for the Colonies and the Home Secretary all future questions for answer after 31st March dealing with the Royal Irish Constabulary should be addressed to the Home Office.
