HC Deb 23 March 1923 vol 161 c2934W
Mr. HURST

asked the Prime Minister whether the Royal Irish Constabulary Tribunal may be instructed to treat the case of every Royal Irish Constabulary pensioner who was compelled to break up his home in Ireland as coming within the scope of the Royal Irish Constabulary Revised Terms of Disbandment Order, 1922, Section 8, paragraphs (a), (b), and (c), in view of the peculiar sufferings of this class?

Mr. ORMSBY-GORE:

The powers of the tribunal under Section 8 extend to all men who were disbanded under the Act. All such cases are being dealt with. They do not extend, and cannot be extended to other pensioners.
