HC Deb 21 March 1923 vol 161 c2586W
Mr. PONSONBY

asked the Minister of Health whether he has yet received the report of the Inquiry held recently in Sheffield by the Ministry of Health at which application was made for the demolition of certain houses in Oborne Street described by the medical officer of health as being unfit for habitation, damp, structurally defective, and not fit to live in nor yet to die in; and what decision has been arrived at?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

The inspectors report has now been received, and I have decided to confirm the Order in respect of the area to which the hon. Member refers. The confirming Order will be issued at an early date.
