Mr. CHAMBERLAINI am not aware that house building in New York has received an impetus in consequence of the imposition of a tax on land values. As regards the second point, I can only refer to the reply given by the Prime Minister last week to a question by the hon. Member for North Dorset (Mr. Emlyn Jones).
