CAVENDISH BENTINCKasked the Minister of Pensions whether the Government is contemplating a transfer of the regional headquarters of the East Midlands area of the Ministry of Pensions from Nottingham and is proposing to incorporate this headquarters with that of the West Midlands area at Birmingham; and, since such a step will involve throwing on the unemployed labour market not less than 200 ex-service men, a large number of whom are disabled as a result of war service, if he will reconsider his decision before taking final action?
