HC Deb 02 August 1923 vol 167 c1749W
Mr. D. SOMERVILLE

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to the large number of recent accidents to public service vehicles in which passengers are reported as having been injured by broken glass; and whether he will consider the advisability of only licensing vehicles fitted with glass of a non-splinterable variety?

Colonel ASHLEY

I have been asked to answer this question, and would refer my hon. Friend to the answer which I gave him yesterday in reply to a somewhat similar question.
