§ Mr. DARBISHIREasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will, before coming to a decision as to the protection, by an import duty, of the manufacture of motor tyres in this country, cause an inquiry to be made into the balance sheets and profit and loss accounts, and the general management of the various companies interested in this industry, and the more especially into the circumstances of those companies promoted, formed, and reconstructed in the years 1919 and 1920?
