§ Captain ELLIOTThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the second part, the Regulations of the Irish Free State Government permit persons interned in Ireland to be visited by their authorised legal advisers for the purpose of assisting them in appealing against their internment. As regards the last part of the question, the police authorities in declining to grant the permission sought were acting in accordance with the desires of the Free State Government.
