HC Deb 12 April 1923 vol 162 c1312W
Mr. EDE

asked the Minister of Agriculture the acreage in Surrey and in England and Wales devoted to the cultivation of lavender, peppermint, and camomile, giving each separately, in 1913, 1914, and the last year for which statistics are available, and also the quantities of each imported in each year for which the foregoing statistics are asked?

Major BARNSTON

I have been asked to reply. Statistics are not collected of the acreage of lavender, peppermint, or camomile, and the imports of these commodities are not separately distinguished in the trade returns.
