§ Mr. McNEILLWe have no more recent or more reliable figures than those given in the last Austrian census of religions. According to these statistics there are just under 3,000,000 Ruthenians, just over 1,000,000 Poles, and a little over 500,000 Jews. The Ambassadors' Conference were in possession of all the necessary data relating to this question before their decision was taken.
