HC Deb 12 April 1923 vol 162 c1313W
Mr. HAYDAY

asked the Minister of Pensions what was the number of pensions cancelled during the 12 months ending 31st December, 1922, owing to change of diagnosis or change of entitlement on medical grounds, and what was the average duration of the pensions so cancelled?

Major TRYON

Out of some 600,000 cases which came up for reassessment during 1922, it was found necessary to cancel entitlement to pension on medical grounds in less than one half of one per cent. I regret that I am not in a position to state the average duration of these pensions.
