§ Sir H. HOPEasked the Postmaster-General whether, in the case of a member of the postal service who had volunteered for service in the beginning of the War before conscription was enacted, and who had been wounded and now requires special medical treatment, which requires his transference to a district other than that where he was employed so that such treatment can be obtained, will be allowed such transference, done at the man's request, to be carried through without it reducing his seniority record for pension purposes?
§ Mr. PEASEAn officer transferred in these circumstances might lose in seniority, but he would not lose service for pension purposes. If my hon. Friend will furnish me with particulars of any case he has in mind, I shall be glad to inquire into it.
