HC Deb 21 March 1922 vol 152 cc278-9W
Mr. MACLEAN

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been drawn to the sentence of nine months' imprisonment with hard labour passed on two men at Bristol on 22nd February for forging telegrams; and whether, in view of the sentence passed on Captain Peel for a similar offence, he will consider the revision of the sentence passed upon these two men?

Mr. SHORTT

My attention has not been called to the case otherwise than by this question, and I am not aware of any ground for action on my part in regard to it. The prisoners are at liberty to apply for leave to appeal if they think fit.
