Mr. ALFRED T. DAVIESasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what recent arrangements have been made with a 2217W view to speeding up the payments of sums due to this country and to our Allies from Germany under the Treaty of Versailles; and what means have been adopted to prevent delay in such payments?
Mr. YOUNGThis question was discussed by the Allied Finance Ministers during their recent Conference in Paris, and my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer hopes in a few days to be in a position to lay papers on the Table of the House upon the subject.
