HC Deb 02 March 1922 vol 151 c590W
Mr. M. JONES

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Transport whether he is aware that the Taff Vale Railway Company has recently made a drastic alteration in their time-table of trains running on the branch line from Pontypridd to Nelson; that, as a consequence of such alteration, great inconvenience has been occasioned to the general public; that a large number of secondary school pupils travelling to the Pontypridd county school from Nelson have to leave at 7.30 a.m., and having arrived at their destination have to wander about the streets until the school opens; and whether he will make representations to the company with a view to secure the restoration of the 8.30 a.m. train?

Mr. NEAL

My attention has not previously been drawn to this matter, but I am having inquiries made to the railway company, and will communicate the result to the hon. Member.
