§ Dr. MACNAMARAThe number of mine workers in Great Britain unemployed on 22nd May, the latest date for which particulars are available, was 97,272, of whom about 56,000 were in receipt of benefit. No record is available as to the number of persons in any particular industry who have been disqualified from benefit.
