§ Mr. JOHNasked the Minister of Labour whether his attention has been 1683W directed to a reference in the Press to the questions put by a member of the Wrexham Unemployed Advisory Committee when considering the case of an applicant for unemployed benefit; and whether, in view of the impropriety of a question as to whether the applicant, an ex-service man, ought to do without children when unemployed, he will take the necessary steps to prevent a repetition of such occurrences?
