Mr. YOUNGThe total amount of duty collected under the Safeguarding of Industries Act, 1921, during the months in question was £88,138. Of this amount £12,524; £12,017; £1,466; £3,423 and £617 was collected in respect of goods consigned from France, United States of America, Belgium, Italy, and Japan respectively.
