HC Deb 04 December 1922 vol 159 cc1263-4W
Mr. MOREL

asked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that Dundee is deprived of night facilities for telegraphing and postage which other leading cities in Scotland enjoy; and whether he will take steps to extend to Dundee precisely the same facilities in these respects as exist, for example, in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and Glasgow?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

The other offices named are larger than Dundee, but if the hon. Member will indicate in greater detail in what respects he considers that the services in the latter town could be improved, I will make inquiry on the matter. The Dundee office, as well as the offices at Edinburgh, Glasgow and I Aberdeen, is at present open continuously for the acceptance of telegrams.
