HC Deb 26 April 1922 vol 153 c567W
Sir R. BLADES

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether, in view of the unemployment in Cobham, Surrey, and district, he will consider the giving up of the brickfield at Little Heath, Cobham, Surrey, now held as an ammunition dump, and so provide employment in the district?

Mr. YOUNG

The clearance of this depot will be undertaken as soon as possible, but I must explain that there are other depots which for reasons of economy must be given preference. Subject to this condition, however, everything possible will be done to expedite the clearance of the depot mentioned by my hon. Friend.
