HC Deb 31 May 1921 vol 142 c852W
Mr. HAYDAY

asked the Minister of Labour if Lord Roberts' Memorial Fund workshops are about to be closed down unless financial support is immediately forthcoming; and will he take such steps as are necessary to secure the continued training of disabled ex-service men and make provisions for the training of those disabled ex-service men who are waiting admission to the Lord Roberts' Memorial Fund workshops for a course of training?

Dr. MACNAMARA

As I have already stated, I am aware that the Lord Roberts' Memorial Workshops Fund is in need of financial assistance to enable these institutions to be carried on; and the position of these and other similar organisations for the employment of severely disabled men is at present receiving my careful consideration.
