HC Deb 31 May 1921 vol 142 cc862-3W
Major BIRCHALL

asked the President of the Board of Trade what are the future intentions of the Ministry with regard to the Brockworth (Gloucester) Aerodrome and the Barnborough (Leeds) Depot?

Mr. YOUNG

I have been asked to answer this question. As regards the Brockworth Aerodrome, evacuation is proceeding as rapidly as possible, but is at present being retarded owing to the industrial situation. Arrangements will be made to dispose of the Aerodrome when the evacuation is complete. As Barnborough is being used as a concentration depot for the contents of numerous smaller depots which are being evacuated, I am afraid that it will be required for some time to come.
