§ Mr. RATCLIFFEasked the Minister of Health if he will refuse to sanction any further contracts for the erection of new houses in Bradford until the result is seen of the demand for the 1,132 houses already contracted for, as there is no reliable information as to the number of houses actually required in Bradford for bonâ fide occupation, and all the estimates of the need for 10,000 houses are guesswork, and if erected the present prices and rents appear likely to cost the taxpayers and ratepayers about £500,000 a year, besides a capital loss in addition?
