asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much per head per annum is now raised by taxation in Great Britain, France, Italy, United States, and Germany; how much per head per annum was so raised in 1913; what is the expenditure per head per annum by the Government, both local and national, in those countries; and what was such expenditure in 1913?
