Mr. HARMSWORTHI would refer the hon. Member to the reply returned to the hon. Member for Pontefract (Mr. Forrest) on the 13th instant, to which there is little that can usefully be added at the present stage. The hon. Member may rest assured that the representations and views of the Chinese Government, as of the various Governments and parties concerned, will receive all due consideration.
