HC Deb 20 June 1921 vol 143 c910W
Mr. LUNN

asked the Chief Secretary whether orders have been issued that the conveying of foodstuffs in trawlers from Derry to West Donegal is to cease; and whether West Donegal is dependent on supplies so conveyed since the railway has been closed down?

Mr. HENRY

In order to prevent the shipment of arms into Donegal the sailing of certain trawlers from Londonderry to Donegal has been stopped. Where it has not been destroyed by the inhabitants, Donegal has a good railway system by which supplies can be conveyed.
