HC Deb 15 June 1921 vol 143 c437W
Mr. RAPER

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether any estimate has been presented to the Cabinet showing the amount required to pay compensation to those who have innocently suffered injury or the destruction of their property by the forces of the Crown in Ireland; whether a Cabinet decision has been arrived at on this matter; and whether a; Supplementary Estimate will be required?

Mr. YOUNG

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative; as regards the second and third parts of the question, the general question of the extension of the Criminal Injuries (Ireland) Acts, 1919 and 1920, is under consideration.
