HC Deb 02 June 1921 vol 142 c1256W
Mr. HAYWARD

asked the Chief Secretary whether a company of auxiliary police at Cork mutinied during March on account of the suspension of a colonel who had been in charge there; whether they threatened to reveal who had burnt Cork and what officers were implicated; and whether, on account of these threats, the colonel in question was reinstated?

Sir H. GREENWOOD

There is no foundation whatever for these allegations.
