HC Deb 17 February 1921 vol 138 c324W
Mr. GLANVILLE

asked the Minister of Labour what provision is being made to absorb those trainees who have not yet been placed with employers after completion of their training in Government instructional factories owing to the failure of finding employers willing to take up the scheme?

Dr. MACNAMARA

I am glad to be able to inform my hon. Friend that arrangements have been made to retain for the present in Government instructional factories all those men for whom no improvership vacancies can be found. At the same time a very thorough canvass of employers is being made with a view to placing these men as soon as possible.
