§ Mr. KILEYasked the Secretary of State for India whether he has yet obtained information as to the extent to which egrets are farmed in India about which he stated on 28th April last that he was making inquiries; and, if so, what is the result of his inquiries?
§ Mr. MONTAGUI suggested to the Indian authorities the desirability of a thorough inquiry into this matter, the present evidence on which is somewhat conflicting, but the financial stringency has made that impossible at present.
