HC Deb 18 April 1921 vol 140 c1548W
Mr. HAYDAY

asked the Minister of Health whether he is in a position to state the result of his inquiries into the delay in the erection of cottages at Ridgmont, Bedfordshire; whether the plans have been passed for the same by the rural district council; and, if so, will he instruct the local authority to speed up the erection of those decided upon, in view of the scarcity of cottage accommodation in that parish?

Sir A. MOND

As a result of inquiries made, I understand that the council are at present concentrating their attention on the erection of houses in other parishes where the need is more urgent, and I am satisfied that this is the right course in the circumstances.
