§ Lieut.-Colonel STANLEYI would refer the hon. Member to my reply on Tuesday last to the hon. Member for Edinburgh, East (Mr. Hogge), in which I stated the number of troops in Ireland at a recent date. I cannot give a reliable estimate of the cost without imposing upon my staff great labour which would not appear to be warranted.
