§ Sir H. GREENWOODThe hon. Member is mistaken in thinking that the Government had previous knowledge of the dastardly attack which was made upon British officers in Dublin on Sunday last. If such knowledge had been in the possession of the authorities, it is obvious that special counter measures would have been taken.
