HC Deb 24 November 1920 vol 135 c459W
Major GLYN

asked the Secretary for Scotland whether it is anticipated that should the Teinds Bill become law any of the existing incumbents would suffer a reduction of income so great as to be less than that received pre-War; whether, if evidence to this effect can be produced, he will consider how the Bill can be amended; and whether, in the meantime, he will delay taking the further stages of the Bill, with certain reservations, until next Session?

Mr. MUNRO

I should certainly not anticipate the result suggested by my hon. and gallant Friend, but I can assure him that full consideration will be given to any proposals for the amendment of the Bill. As regards the further stages of the Bill, I would refer to the reply which I gave on Monday last to the hon. Member for Central Edinburgh.
