HC Deb 24 November 1920 vol 135 c459W
Mr. BENNETT

asked the Postmaster-General what restrictions have recently been imposed upon the despatch through the post of parcels for Austria; and whether such restrictions, which impede the transmission of parcels of clothing for the necessitous poor, can be removed?

Mr. ILLINGWORTH

So far as I am aware no restrictions have recently been imposed upon the despatch through the post of parcels for Austria, I have received no information that clothing may not be sent to that country; and postal parcels for Austria containing clothing are sent on to their destination without question by the British Post Office.
