HC Deb 06 May 1920 vol 128 cc2267-8W
Mr. H. HOPE

asked the Secretary for Scotland whether the Stirlingshire Education Authority employ a motor char-a-banc at a cost of £200 a year to convey one child from Balfron to Fintry and back?

Mr. MUNRO

The responsibility for arrangements for the conveyance of children to school, where this is found to be necessary, is placed upon the education authority by the Education (Scotland) Acts. The Scottish Education Department have no information as to the facilities that may have been provided in the instance mentioned. I am, however, having inquiry made into the matter.
