HC Deb 06 May 1920 vol 128 cc2259-60W
Mr. W. THORNE

asked the Minister of Health if he has now received a report from the medical officer of health to the Southwark Borough with regard to Trinity Buildings; if he is aware that that borough has the power to order a house-to-house sanitary inspection in consequence of the overcrowding in the houses in the borough in question; and if he will order a house-to-house inspection?

Dr. ADDISON

I am informed that the medical officer of health is to furnish a report for consideration at the next meeting of the housing committee of the Borough Council on the 10th instant. I will consider what further steps should be taken as soon as I have received the necessary information from the Council. I will inform the hon. Member of what takes place.
