§ Mr. RAMSDENasked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether the new rates of pay of officers of the Naval Inspection and Design Branches have yet been settled; if not, whether, pending a settlement, it is proposed to charge these officers with the full rates of Income Tax as from the 1st April, 1920; and whether the rates that will be paid to the officers referred to will be less than the rates of pay and allowances now being received by military officers holding corresponding appointments in the Land Service Inspection and Design Branches?
