asked the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture (Ireland) the approximate stocks of potatoes in Ireland on the 1st March in the years 1918, 1919, and 1920 respectively?

The total estimated production of the potato crop in Ireland during the years 1917, 1918 and 1919 were as follows:—

The proportion of the stock estimated as remaining on farms was as follows on the dates indicated:—

1st February, 1920 50.0

The final figures for 1st March, 1920, are not available, and the Department of Agriculture have accordingly supplied estimated figures for the month of February in each year.
